Early childhood supports

Early childhood supports are designed to help children in their early years develop important skills and reach their full potential through personalised care and guidance.

These supports provide targeted help in areas like communication, motor skills, and social interaction, helping your child grow and thrive at their own pace.

Children under 7 years old with developmental delays or disabilities can access these supports through the NDIS.

We provide services in the home, in the community, or through a mix of both, depending on what works best for your family and child.

If you have concerns about your child’s development, it’s a good idea to consult with a professional who can help assess whether early childhood supports would be beneficial.

Getting started with the NDIS

You can apply for NDIS funding by submitting an access request form through the NDIS website, or by calling the NDIS directly to begin the process.

You’ll need to provide details about your child’s disability or developmental delay, along with any relevant medical reports or assessments that support your application.

The process can vary, but typically it takes between 6 to 12 weeks from the time you submit your application to receive a decision.

Once approved, you’ll work with an NDIS planner or coordinator to create a support plan that outlines the services and funding your child will receive.

Yes, you can request a plan review at any time if your child’s needs have changed, and adjustments can be made to better suit their current situation.
